In the past three months, inContAlert has won several awards and been featured in various media, making the first quarter of 2024 a successful one.

Starting with the pitches of two development projects as part of the DATIpilot funding program of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research in mid-January at the Volksbad Jena. Out of 300 applications, 600 projects were invited to pitch, and thereof, 150 have been selected. In the final pitches, the other participants could decide which projects convinced them the most and vote for them. Both projects were able to convince, resulting in a considerable amount of funding for the implementation of the projects.

inContAlert also won two prizes at the first German edition of the ODDO BHF Young Entrepreneurs Awards (OYEA) at the end of February. The start-up was selected in the Social Impact category by the top-class jury consisting of Philippe OddoDr. Martin Brudermüller, Constanze Hufenbecher, Daniel Krauss, Christian Miele, Melissa Ott, and Prof. Dr. Helmut Schönenberger. In addition, inContAlert was awarded the People’s Choice Award by the 300 invited guests from politics and industry. As a result of the double victory, inContAlert received a total of €20,000 in prize money and coaching from the network of ODDO BHFBayStartUP, Business Angels Netzwerk Deutschland e.V., Futury, High-Tech Gründerfonds, UnternehmerTUM, and Werte-Stiftung.
