At the fourth pitch night of the Digital Hub Initiative (de:hub) of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) in Dresden, Jannik Lockl prevailed in the Newcomer Award category and secured inContAlert the title of de:hub Newcomer Startup of the Year 2022.
The event was opened by Anna Christmann, BMWK Commissioner for Digital Economy and Start-ups, and the Prime Minister of Saxony, Michael Kretschmer. Afterwards, five startups from each of the two categories Newcomer and Digital Hub Award pitched in front of an audience of renowned investors and a top-class jury (including Lea-Sophie Cramer and Christian Henschel). The two winners of each category were determined by a vote of the jury and the audience. The Digital Hub Award for already established startups went to Packwise GmbH.
The Digital Hub Initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action is driving Germany’s transformation into a leading global digital location. The initiative promotes the establishment and networking of 12 Digital Hubs with different thematic focuses in order to jointly find answers to the challenges of the digital age. inContAlert represented the Digital Health Hub from Nuremberg/ Erlangen.
