inContAlert awarded with “Gründungspreis+” at digital summit of the German Federal Government

As one of six winners of the “Gründungspreis+” out of 220 applications in the “Gründungswettbewerb-Digitale Innovationen”, Dr. Jannik Lockl and Nicolas Ruhland presented the product on behalf of inContAlert and received the award in front of a renowned audience from politics, business, and science.

The award ceremony took place during the 16th German Digital Summit hosted by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection. Anna Christmann hosted the ceremony together with Astrid Frohloff. A total of 21 prizes worth more than €300,000 were awarded.

This year’s Fokuspreis on the topic of energy efficiency went to startup Emidat and was presented by Robert Habeck. The remaining awards honored startups addressing digitization in areas such as sustainability, health, climate change, and social issues.

The Gründungswettbewerb – Digitale Innovationen supports startup teams with innovative ideas and well-thought-out concepts in the early stage. inContAlert receives prize money as well as advisory support for further development.
